My Trade Buddy is a personal trading journal, analytics, and discipline tool. The Service is designed to help traders track their trades, analyze performance patterns, manage risk, and build trading discipline.

The Service does NOT:

• Execute, place, or manage trades on your behalf
• Provide personalized investment advice or financial advisory services
• Act as a broker, dealer, or registered investment advisor
• Guarantee any trading profits or outcomes
• Manage or hold any user funds or securities

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service includes AI-powered features such as market analysis, chart analysis, and trade feedback. All AI-generated content is provided strictly for educational and informational purposes only.

• AI analyses, suggestions (including direction, entry zones, stop losses, and targets), and trade feedback are not financial advice and should not be treated as such.
• AI models can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading information. You should always conduct your own research and analysis before making any trading decisions.
• Past performance data and AI-derived insights do not guarantee future results.
• You are solely responsible for your trading decisions and any resulting profits or losses.

4. Browser Extension

The My Trade Buddy browser extension is a personal productivity tool that provides trade logging, discipline enforcement, and analytics overlays on trading platforms.

• The extension does not automate trading, manipulate markets, or provide any unfair advantage.
• Use of the extension on third-party trading platforms is at your own discretion and risk. You are responsible for ensuring compliance with your broker's or trading platform's terms of service.
• The discipline enforcement features (overlays, cooldowns, click interception) are designed to help you follow your own trading rules. They may be bypassed and do not guarantee prevention of impulsive trades.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any trading platform or broker.

5. AI Analysis

AI-generated analysis provided by the Service is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. You should always conduct your own analysis before making trading decisions.

6. Risk Disclosure

Trading in financial markets involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. The high degree of leverage available in forex, options, and other derivative markets can work against you as well as for you. You should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite before trading. There is a possibility that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment.

7. User Accounts and Data

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may export or delete your data at any time via the Manage Data page.
• We do not sell your personal data or trading information to third parties.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Firebase (Google), Claude (Anthropic), Gemini (Google), Yahoo Finance, Alpha Vantage, TradingView, Stripe, Razorpay, and Zerodha Kite Connect. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Trade Buddy and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangibles, resulting from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any trading decisions made based on information provided by the Service
• Any AI-generated analysis, feedback, or suggestions
• Unauthorized access to your data or account
• Any interruption or cessation of the Service

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
